Doc/Now is a two-week arts festival celebrating the work of Documentary Media artists from June 11 - 23, 2009.
The festival showcases the thesis work of graduating students in the Documentary Media MFA Program at Ryerson University in Toronto.
With four exhibitions at prominent galleries throughout the city, six days of film screenings, and site-specific installations, Doc/Now reflects the program's innovative approach to documentary in photography, film and new media.
The artists in Doc/Now expand, challenge and experiment with the documentary form and tackle contemporary political, social and cultural issues.
